Pros
*Amazing health insurance *Wide scope of job duties (lots of exposure) *Great people (some of the best friends of my life did work there) *Little to no risk of being fired (they need people bad)
Cons
*Legitimately too many to list. *Racist environment toward anyone non-Japanese (Japanese only meetings) (Japanese only decisions) (Americans are "local staff") total segregation. *Lack of education, what little training that is available and only applies to Kubota *Promotions are time base not skill based (could be a pro if your lazy) *Salary is about 15% low for the region (as of 2019) *Very little growth opportunity unless your Japanese *Unethical design practices (often you will be asked to copy designs) *Hard working people get all the work of slackers (could be a pro if your a slacker) *Cafeteria and bathrooms have roaches and are unsanitary at best *Ultra micro management *High attrition rate (turn over is greater than 30%) *50% of the engineers are glorified mechanics with no engineering tasks There is so many more.............like I said above.
