Thank you for your review! As you noted, Kurt prides itself on providing Employee Owners opportunities to learn and grow. Whether in skilled trades such as machining, die casting and quality or occupations such as engineering, program management or purchasing, possibilities abound. Employee Owners are eligible for $5,250 per year in tuition reimbursement and are encouraged to gain certifications in their field. We often promote from within and are always looking for rock stars with a desire to make a difference.

Thanks for sharing your experience on Glassdoor. Being employee owned is who we are and why we do what we do. So glad that you agree – our 500 employee company still feels like family!

Pros

It was a decent job. Wasn't great It was better than some jobs I had at the time

Cons

Pay structure still lives in the '80s benefits. Still live in the '80s and they expect you to do lots of work. Pay you very little and treat you like it. You're a child but try to act like it's family. In other words, they're going to not pay you what you're worth Making custodians build boxes when the managers are perfectly capable of doing this or they could get someone else to do this that are skilled at this, especially since we're not even getting paid for that job when the people who that being the managers are getting extra money for building boxes but having us build it. That's BS and are being used as in indentured servitude
