Pros

More paid holidays than most retailers. (Most perks are only available for employees working in Maine)

Cons

Not worth working for Bean if you work outside of Maine. Retail stores are the company's lowest priority. Payroll is cut to a bare minimum so every rep and manager is stretched thin throughout the day - it's difficult to get breaks in most days. There are so many issues in this company I don't know where to begin: Operations are a mess. Visuals are a mess. Systems are a mess. I doubt upper management has ever worked in retail before. Advancement within the company seems to only be available for those who have put in 10+ years in Maine and not for anyone working in the field (although advancement was one of their big selling points while recruiting for new stores). This company has created a recipe for disaster in their retail stores, yet they continue to open more and more.
