Pros

unlimited vacation and 9/80 schedule

Cons

This site is ran like a mom and pop store onsight to the overall L3Harris team environment. The onboarding process does not exist, there is no direction, no training, no standard processes, all manual processes, and leadership is poor. This location will pay you but you will be over worked, stressed, working weekends, and late nights to keep up and you will still be behind. The turnover rate is horrible and people leave just as soon as they come. Although one perk of working here is to have the opportunity to partake in the unlimited vacation, unfortunately you will never get to take it due excessive workload. The moral is very low and most of the employees spend more time working against each other than actively working together. BEWARE!!!!!

Thank you for leaving a review. We’re disappointed to hear you felt your experience with us was not positive. We always strive for continuous improvement, so we appreciate the feedback you provided. To your point, we do offer discretionary PTO and many of our employees have found in this benefit great flexibility when scheduling time off around family, unexpected events and vacation. Also, across the business our HR Business Partners and managers work with our employees to help balance their work/life integration so our employees can bring their best selves to work each day because we don’t want to see burnout for anyone! We wish you the best of luck in your next role.

Pros

There are plenty of great coworkers.

Cons

The management is atrocious across the board, and only gets worse the further up you go. There are a few great managers/supervisors, but they're few and far between. If you're part of a branch that is unionized, your progression is limited based on the current contract. If you're in a branch that isn't, your progression is limited by the whims of those above you - regardless of how well that you perform. In the union branches, management's dumb decisions can be tempered by the union getting involved. In the non-union branches, they can (and will) force you to work overtime even if there is no justification or work available at times. They can (and will) refuse PTO even if its approved months in advance. They can (and will) go on power trips, ruin morale, and run programs into the ground.
