The new leadership in the IT department does not prioritize its employees. Any role in IT has become mundane. Current leadership does not encourage growth with their internal employees. Instead, leadership decides to outsource IT functions with external contractors. Over the years, L3Harris has turned from a company that cared/invested for its employees to essentially a contracting company. Working any other role rather than IT may be great, however employees in the IT department feel their jobs are hanging on by a thread. Overall, internal employees & their roles are not respected. Please be aware that IT leadership is constantly looking to outsource.
