Pros

Good benefits and overall treatment by my Supervisors and Co-workers. Positive support for Diversity and Inclusion efforts. Fairly decent communication from Management on planning and investments.

Cons

In the 13 years overall, I have worked for decent managers who had a clear understanding of the team's tasks and goals. However, there were three managers who were so bad, the good teams they took over were eventually destroyed and dismantled. Not sure why their managers were not able to see the detrimental behaviors until it was too late to save the original team focus and performance. My guess was these detrimental managers were not getting enough oversight and corrective managerial training from higher ups, who were not listening to the teams being affected.

Pros

As a contractor you can enjoy high pay if you negotiate it with the approved Indian based (ok US based but Indian controlled) structure. The busines prospects also look promising. Assurity of Income due to Defense Industrial Complex. The willingness to set aside major plant operations and redirect security personel to protect Visiting VIP Cabinet Level Appointees so they can perform Security Theater (I would call it Political Messaging by current Government leaders in the Department of War since the scripted end product was released for public consumption.) This ability to successfully chase taxpayers dollars will serve the company well in the near future.

Cons

The need to have US Citizens work most of the positions is a security requirement. Yet the reality is that means very little when those US Citizens are scrutinized almost completely by entities in another country. An organization cited US Law about hiring decisions and then gave a Calcutta address to snail mail / contact if an adverse decision was used.
