Non sales staff is often not compensated well. Sales vacation bonus alone is already more than office managers make in a pay period. Though we would not be here without sales and closings, many sales would not happen if it was not for office manager's efforts with files, permits, appraisals, scheduling and prepping for closings, and dealing with customers when staff is not present. Not to mention the amount of regional marketing efforts that bring in leads that turn to sales, a large number of customer and eventual sales would not even call if it was not for us.
Growth in company has lead disconnect from field and corporate. Many things are not being done LGI Way and some sales reps have a history of unethical behavior and have not been dismissed due to "selling and closing homes". Hopefully planned visits from COO to every region will help and continue to occur
If longer term goals did not go to corporate I feel like nothing would come of them. Hard to get recognized, let alone advance in company
