Pros
With our business being sold we have a job
Cons
The trainers were extremely nice people. Could not ask for nicer people. The overview of the company was very good. Very beneficial. However, we learned very little of our actual jobs. We were promised that there would be time the last week and then the rest of the time that they were here. That did not work out that way. We ended up having to transfer about 50 patients into the new system. Immediately. So the trainers had to enter patients into the system instead of training us. I understand that, but it did not help us with out jobs. Also, patients were suppose to be slow in coming into the new system so we would have time to get used to the new system. But again with all the new patients for day 1, everything dumped on us at one time. The training after that was very rushed and some things we did not get to. Two of the trainers asked for extra time to spend with us, they did not feel that we were ready to go on our own. They were denied the time. So, we have done the best that we can. On a technical side: The phone system is new. There is No voice mail. There is not a display for the office people, so most calls we have to go and find out where the person is and then transfer. No intercom system. The fax system crashed and we were not set up in the system yet, but our faxes were shut off on the regular machine so we had to do a work around to get our faxes. The HCHB system is extremely slow at times. Sometimes it has taken 30 minutes to have a save on something go thru. This was not the smooth transition that we were assured. With a whole team of trainers coming in, this was not what we were expecting. Very rough start.
