      Pros

      It is a job, and they've already tried to hire half of Lafayette, but can't seem to get anyone to stay. It's likely connected to the way they treat the employees.

      Cons

      You'll never know which rules apply to you and not others. I quite literally bled for this corporate hell hole, and after 2 years my raise was 5 cents and a writeup due to heresay about me. I walked out and tears of relief filled me.

      Pros

      Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

      Cons

      Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
