      Honestly can’t think of any

      This company is all about profit and clearly cares nothing about patients or quality of care. The productivity standard is impossible to keep if you are truly giving a quality visit to your client. Manager charged with coaching us on how to more efficiently provide a quality visit while meeting the crazy time consuming documentation requirements in the home didnt even know how unrealistic the policies were because he admittingly HAD NEVER DONE A HOME VISIT HIMSELF. Very sad that the old way of giving quality time and care to patients has given way to large, greedy corporations such as LHC.

      Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

      Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
