Pros

In that LHC nationwide able to work many different states geographical areas if desired.

Cons

Too many managers Horrible micromanaging by employees who have hv no clue how to do your job Schedule changes constantly and without notice and then all scheduled etc messed up Says 8 to 5 job. BS Long hours and then paperwork pt scheduling confer with other staff etc off clock new hires with little or no experience make more money then loyal seasoned clinicians Scheduled visits often all ovet the place and make no sense time or productivity wise etc bottom line is money money money they could care less abt pts use a computer algorithms app that RN answers questions abt pt during soc etc and then before PT OT or ST even see pt and evaluate app spits out some random number how many visits pt allowed between therapy disciplines. Is extremely low number and they strictly adhere no matter what therapists recommendation is and then want clinician to say medicare wont let them have more

Pros

LHC group is a good company to work for. They offered training and support from management. I would say a solid company culture from my experience. I felt supported and checked on by my team.

Cons

Cons depend on the agency you work for. I had a good experience with my location and team.

Pros

Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

Cons

Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
