Pros

There are none. There are red flags all around us. Even temps don't want to work here, now that is bad. They actually have someone that reads these reviews and it does no good. They make no changes.

Cons

Not one location is fully staffed. They push the work load off on the employees they do have instead of hiring the correct amount of people to do the job. Forget being compensated for it. They cut the Sales Managers pay by 20%, they also took away commission for the sales route drivers and then re-created a pay structure screwing the employee. And they wonder why they can't keep people. LKQ has some of the highest ratings for being one of the worse places to work. You will under paid and over worked and given other peoples work loads. HR works for the Employer not the Employee. So if you get hurt while your at work and file a workman comp claim, you will mist likely be fired for some off the wall excuse. We currently have a D rating on the BBB. Not enough check it out for yourself. They try to cover things up because they are owned by share holders and not an individual person. So if something happens they try to take care of it before it leaks out. They don't want people cashing in their shares, they would fold.

Pros

Pay is decent for those of us who have built a large enough customer base over the years.

Cons

Commission rate cuts the last five consecutive years. No path for advancement. Poor management. Since 2021, every change they have made that I have seen is designed to keep the stock price as high as possible - which has been stagnant for 10+ years. Customers and employees come last.
