Pros
Decent pay. Costly but good benefits. Solid 40 hours a week.
Cons
Promised career opportunities and advancement chances from the start. These were all empty promises. Be prepared to watch the uppers friends take the manager positions and have no management skills. Always told how easy it is to replace you and how you should feel lucky to have a job. Had a pay freeze for a few years while the company was having a very profitable few years. When we did get a pay raise it was 1%. No sick days. Way below national average paid time off days which your sick days tap into. Any time you call in it is an occurrence. Six occurrences in a rolling year they fire you. Jury duty is unpaid and counts towards your pto. If your hourly be prepared to watch the uppers and other salary employees dance around time off, days missed, long lunches, being late, and leaving early while hourly employees are held to the super strict standards. Have to keep a journal due to management that tells you to do something one way then at the end of the year on your review tries to down grade your performance for the way they told you to perform your job. If your part of the good old boys club you have a sweet ride. If not be prepared to be treated as a number with no where to advance.
