Pros

Environmentally conscious building, cafe , gym and most of all the talented and wonderful employees i work with

Cons

I work for this company for such a long time and it's sad to say that the corporate value they want us to follow to make the advisor's on the field happy is making all the employees work hard for nothing. Management under the service center always looks for good numbers.....what number are you all looking for? You all forgotten the people that works hard and all you care are numbers. Employees are not treated as a number, they should be treated as a person who wants to survive and get paid well because they value the work they do. Senior management needs to wake up and look after your employees. Value there talent and pay them what they are worth for. You all worry about your $100k salaries and your bonuses and giving us free lunch does not cut it.

Pros

LPL Financial offers a flexible hybrid work model, which is one of the better aspects of the company. Managers are generally not overly strict about specific in-office days, giving employees some flexibility in managing their schedules.

Cons

Work-life balance is a major challenge. Weekend release work is common, often averaging two weekends per month, yet there is no overtime compensation. Employees are essentially expected to work a full workweek plus weekends when needed, which has contributed to high turnover on some teams. The culture can also feel harsh and impersonal. Leadership rarely expresses appreciation or recognition for employee contributions, which negatively impacts morale. Some managers come across as cold or overly task-focused, creating an environment where employees feel valued only for output rather than as people. There also appears to be a lack of trust between employees and leadership. Many teammates do not seem confident that leadership understands or genuinely addresses their concerns. Overall, morale feels low, and recognition for strong performance appears limited.
