Pros
Interesting material to learn in the Long Term Care insurance biz
Cons
I was uneasy in the interview and almost did not accept the offer. I wish I had declined. The interview left me with an impression of a cynical, fast-paced, demanding, devil-may-care culture. I decided to take the risk anyway hoping my impression was wrong - it wasn't. I've been given little to no training save for what I can scrounge to read and find on my own. When I do sit with a co-worker for "training" - training consist of I lecture you as fast as I can for 15 minutes to a half hour if you are lucky. You better retain everything I say to you the first time. If you ask me subsequent follow-up questions for clarification the first time you are doing your work, you probably weren't listening the first time at al or that is a stupid question. But at the same time you better be very careful and not make any mistakes or your name will be mud. I've been here just a little over a month - brand new to the company and industry and that it my experience. If you join LTCG I hope yours is a better one.
