You can earn a lot of money quickly. Especially if you land yourself in the right team and have the right manager. You will learn the basics of recruitment, and have accountability and work ethic drilled into you.
Cons
The higher you go up the chain, the worse it gets. You are constantly on the edge and living in pure fear. Upper management are clueless. Management are truly awful on every level. Micromanagement central. Clueless robots that don't know how to recruit, they only know how to install fear into people. They are so out of touch with the markets and rely on old recycled ideas that are not in line with current practices. Its very much a quantity over quality type of environment. Will do anything to get a fee, even if it means screwing over clients and lying to candidates. Very toxic environment, teams trying to steal each others clients. No collaboration whatsoever. Toxically competitive. Management only show interest when you do deals. They simply do not care about people at all. For 2 years in a row the company had a very bad financial performance and no bonuses were paid despite certain teams hitting their targets, unless the management liked the individual. Favouritism is rife here. Turnover is very very high. They can't retain staff to save their lives. The grass is greener when you go to other places, but young grads get brainwashed when they join into thinking it is the best company to work for in the world.
