Pros
- Majority of upper leadership are the founders of the company, so they're still invested in making the right decisions for everyone here. Sounds like a simple thing, but that's pretty rare in tech these days. - Leaders here seem like genuinely good people who aren't interested in becoming celebrities. They are pretty accessible and it makes it more enjoyable to work here. - Management do encourage an in-office culture, but they aren't too anal about it. Distinct teams have the opportunity to find their own working model for remote/in-office and it works well. - It's a fun time to be here as the company is growing (something lots of tech companies will claim, but LVT seems to be actually growing). - The product is innovative and has an exciting future. - LVT is one of the first places I've worked that seems to understand the limits of AI. Not everything is having AI thrown at it and there's very little promising that AI will fix everything or replace the entire workforce. It's refreshing.
Cons
- There is some management-level drama in the sales/product realm that can bleed into the day-to-day, but it's not too hard to tune out and stay away from.
