Pros

The company, itself, as a whole offers a great benefit package to its full time employees. Seven paid holidays, 120 hrs. of paid sick time, 40 hr vacation time that acrues after your first year anniversary with the company, not to mention all the sick time that accumulates immediately after employment. This company offers an automatic 401k plan of enrollment after 90 days of employment. Also, you are entitled to a annual review for performace plan increase. You are to believe that if there are any problems you can contact your chain of command while trying to resolve any isues.

Cons

While the benefit package includes holiday pay it only goes by the hours you are schudeled to work or normally work, meaning you work 6 hrs you get paid 5.25 hrs for that holiday, also know one works 40 hrs a week. Sick time taken rusults in an occurance, meaning a write up, eith or without an doctors note. So having the companies insurance can get you fired, if you use whats given to you. Also vacation time, sick time is hardly ever approved, resulting in the loss of your unused vacation time. Also, no Fair treatment policy is obided.

Pros

The kids and families are amazing. It’s so rewarding to go into work and watch a baby learn to walk or a toddler begin to learn their colors and know that I had a part in that. Watching the kids grow and learn was the absolute best part of the job.

Cons

There were a lot of safety concerns. Staff were not all held to the same standard and children were getting hurt because some staff were allowed to slack while others weren’t. I was both parent and staff. My concerns about safety were brushed off by my admin and the district as well. There was favoritism and a lack of training. The pay is also very low. The CEO has never been on the classroom side of childcare and that tells you everything you need to know.
