Pros
Covance has decent benefits (insurance, 401k, etc.). Unfortunately, the company now pays less so you pay more for insurance, but definitely better than other places. Also, benefits begin immediately. The place has great co-workers. The pay is decent and overtime is pretty consistent (not good for salary).
Cons
Blatant favoritism; management is clueless; outdated instruments, computers, and software; no work/life balance; treatment; remote lot (condition and convenience); long time between promotion; no guidance for promotion; lack of respect for employees; HR is not helpful; lack of support from management; shady practices; disregard for regulations; lack of training/cross-training; no communication; little to no flexibility; and inability to transfer/move The worst experience I had, however, is that after receiving a position elsewhere in the company and accepting the offer, the offer was rescinded after a week due to my management's intervention.
