Pros

Excellent coworkers and community that really makes you feel a part of something special. Products have a huge impact on the world and it is great to work for a company making a difference.

Cons

Roles and management could be more well defined. Marketing/sales can be stubborn about obsoleting old product lines.

It's sometimes difficult to "let go" of older product lines when we still have so many satisfied customers using them in the field. Our recent product roadmaps, with an emphasis on emerging technologies and markets, should make the transition from legacy products to new solutions a bit easier.

Pros

I spent three years early in my career at Labsphere, and it was an incredible learning experience. The management team, particularly the production manager, was exceptionally patient and supportive. They provided me with all the tools and guidance I needed to grow and succeed. The mentorship I received was truly one of the most memorable and impactful moments of my professional journey.

Cons

I do not have any cons .

Pros

The best part of my experience was the people I worked with. I gained a lot of valuable technical experience by working on a variety of projects and collaborating with different teams. The flexible work schedule, employee events, breakfast gatherings, and ability to make the workspace feel personal helped create a positive culture. Working across departments also pushed me to become a stronger communicator and a more well-rounded engineer.

Cons

There wasn't much room for career growth, and there wasn't a clear promotion structure or engineering levels to work toward. Training was hit or miss, so a lot of learning happened through trial and error. I would have liked more regular feedback from management and clearer expectations about my performance and career development. I also think offering a more flexible WFH policy, improving efforts around diversity and inclusion, and focusing on retaining younger employees would go a long way. Compensation also didn't seem to match the responsibilities of the role, especially as those responsibilities grew over time.
