Pros
Meet a couple really nice ladies
Cons
Cooperate lies to the stylists, long shifts, unprofessional, untrained managers, lack of organization within the shops, inconsistency from the head of company down. I opened a shop in Overland Park Kansas,(against my gut instinct ) being told by the manager how wonderful the company was, how much money I would be making , how we as stylist would only have to work shifts we wanted to work ans none other). They did not have the salon put together on opening day, and did not have proper licensing required by the state of Kansas. Several fines were issued on that day.... several cooperate employees running around not doing much of anything really 3 of them having never worked in a salon atmosphere. The state board comes in, fines every stylist that is working on opening day, we are asked to stay on and work the shift, being told by several cooperate people that any and all fines will be paid by the company.....8 months later, ( I no longer after all the red tape is processed, I receive a letter stating I owe $500. I call the salon, I email the cooperate office, NO RESPONSE!! I am in the process of taking them to small claims court. The company only cares about making money, they have no integrity, no regard for rules of each individual state, no real organization with in the company. I met several employees who were not happy working for them.
