Great company, Flexible, Amazing senior leadership

Company does not prioritize project management enough

I had the pleasure of completing a Sales Internship this past summer at Land O'Frost and cannot complain at all. My first day I was welcomed in with open arms and was given a presentation on the company history and functions. Members of the Land O'Frost family were nothing less than great and I felt at home with this company. Everyone was more than happy to help me with anything I needed. I was able to become rather familiar with the industry that Land O'Frost is in and went through a substantial amount of training in order to be successful in the position. I was able to see the operations of the company and the tasks that my manager needed to complete on a daily basis. The culture of Land O'Frost is something that I have not experienced with previous jobs and has set high expectations for my future endeavors. I feel that I was able to experience opportunities than the average intern and would recommend this position to someone who is looking to get a kickstart in sales. I appreciate all the individuals I interacted with throughout the internship for the time and effort they gave me!

One thing that I would recommend is to have more sales & negotiation sessions with the intern. I do understand that the position does not fully entail a selling and negotiation aspect as much as other industries demand but, I do feel that incorporating this portion of sales is extremely important into the sales intern curriculum. I would not consider this to be a con but more of a recommendation.
