Pros
The only pro is that it was close to my home
Cons
This is by far the worst job environment I've ever worked in. The plant in Lansing, IL to be exact. There's a reason why there wasn't an interview and there is a huge WE'RE HIRING sign on their building at all times. It's a revolving door, the pay is miniscule, and they do not care about you at all in this place. A particular instance of poor management is when I was having heart complications and needed a break from the chest pain, the supervisor approached me abrasively in the break room and I couldn't even explain to him my issues because he was already in a bad mood , so I stated I needed to go home, he proceeded to say leave and clock out while storming out of the break room. I would've rather died then to discuss my issues further with this poor, condescending excuse of a supervisor. The way he handled it was my last day, I decided I could not work under his management. I was already tired of the position they had me working, which wasn't operating the machine at all. People come and go in this place and there is a reason. They take advantage of people who are just looking for work and people wonder why no one wants to work. By far the worst job I've ever had, and I have 11 years of working experience. Things that come easy are not worth it, I should have known when I filled out my application and got called for orientation two days later. No matter how desperate you are for work, do not work here.
