Pros

Pretty scenery. But that’s about it.

Cons

I’d give this 0 stars if I could. Classless ownership. Gave speeches pressuring us to sell so they could afford their yachts basically. They could care less about their staff. No HR so there is no protection and no safe place to be ever. You are not protected. No organization. 16 hour days. They’ll honor their toxic management before you and not hear your concerns. They won’t provide proper training or tools but blame and reprimand you. Chef saves her food from every wedding to use at the next wedding. Teenage racist boy on property who acts like he runs the show. No manners, no respect, hostility and yelling all the time. Utter mess of a business and it’s going all around what a poor job they are doing by clients. Karma is real and they have big problems coming their way. Just a shame really.

Pros

One of my favorite things about this company is the support systems they have created to take some of the burden off the institution operator. Sales team and call center to drive and facilitate private dining sales, maintenance and facilities support teams , etc. This really enables for focused efforts in house on operations and guest experience as well as, focused efforts on those fronts from the specialized department. The whole executive suite of the By Landmark team make themselves available. This not only makes problem solving more streamlined but supports the feeling of being seen in the company. The balance of “mom and pop” business with the benefits of a large multifaceted corporate team makes all the difference. The potential for growth is self evident especially since the company is growing so quickly.

Cons

Having the store closed two days a week limited the flexibility of your schedule. With that said, I don’t see any issues when needing an additional day off to attend an important function for family or friends. I have not had anyone really address our bonus structure in depth. We can do better with some cultural basics when it comes to FoH habits.
