Pros

Far and away the biggest benefit of this position has been the people I work with. If it weren't for my coworkers I would not be in this position. Another big benefit is the team bonding activities are usually pretty fun, whether it is going out to dinner (on the company dime), or going to a haunted house its always really enjoyable.

Cons

The biggest issue I saw was the disconnect between the corporate office and individual properties. This disconnect usually exists in large companies like this, but it made it especially difficult for our property because we opened in August and got off to a rough start because of a poor job by the contracted construction company, and I didn't see as much support from corporate as I was expecting from a multibillion-dollar company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found this to be a positive opportunity for college students, as we strive to provide flexible roles that support both academic and professional development. We also recognize that working in student housing can involve engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including parents and guarantors, which can sometimes be challenging. Strong communication and customer service are an important part of these roles, and we aim to support our teams in navigating those interactions professionally and effectively

Pros

Great company to work for, And they really value their employees. They provide certification opportunities for maintenance technicians as well and a really care about your career development.

Cons

Maintenance technicians should get paid more and the medical insurance they offer doesn't cover a lot
