Pros
Staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. There are opportunities to work on very large projects. Training was very thorough. Hands off management style. Opportunities to learn about all aspects of their business, even if it outside of your department. Free food multiple times a week. Lots of events and volunteer work. Very nice open office space. Good pay. Lunchtime learning seminars and classes are frequently held.
Cons
The summer I worked there, it seemed that they took on too many interns. There was not enough space and some interns had to use a ping pong table as a desk. I was told they had less work than was expected, and it was a challenge to get people to give me assignments at times. Some project managers acted like they were too busy to talk to you or follow up with you. They were also reluctant to give interns any real responsibility. For a normal employee, none of this would really be an issue
