      Pros

      Education, nice renovated campus, good people, pay is very good for faculty, fun working with students, lots of sick time, pension plan, good benefits.

      Cons

      Upper management hires jerks and idiots, HR only supports upper management and not regular employees; Union support is good, but they can't do much.

      Pros

      LCC pays well especially as compared to other colleges in the area. The advising team is very supportive of each other and works to maintain a collaborative culture.

      Cons

      Advising is not often appreciated by other units on campus. Often times, administrators complain about the effectiveness of the advising team. Constant critique is very devaluing.
