Cons

Lack of respect for student employees, in some departments. We do all the groundwork. Sometimes they insult your intelligence and make you feel like you are not capable of completing a task. Some departments overwork student employees and some make student employees anything.

LCC pays well especially as compared to other colleges in the area. The advising team is very supportive of each other and works to maintain a collaborative culture.

Cons

Advising is not often appreciated by other units on campus. Often times, administrators complain about the effectiveness of the advising team. Constant critique is very devaluing.
