Pros

Very competitive pay and benefits compared to other colleges.

Cons

Prior to covid there were a lot of professional development opportunities, now that seems to have been taken to the back burner and overall morale and culture is down a bit because of that.

Pros

LCC pays well especially as compared to other colleges in the area. The advising team is very supportive of each other and works to maintain a collaborative culture.

Cons

Advising is not often appreciated by other units on campus. Often times, administrators complain about the effectiveness of the advising team. Constant critique is very devaluing.
