Pros

Flexible work schedule for students and coworkers were friendly. Pretty easy workload and learned valuable skills. Training was quick and easy.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of work. HR process takes awhile. Accused of stealing a package and was never apologized to once it was found, which was very rude.

LCC pays well especially as compared to other colleges in the area. The advising team is very supportive of each other and works to maintain a collaborative culture.

Cons

Advising is not often appreciated by other units on campus. Often times, administrators complain about the effectiveness of the advising team. Constant critique is very devaluing.
