      Working at LCC gave me good experience in my field and helped open up more doors for me once I graduated. The culture of the workplace was laid back and education is a fun area to support

      Pay is lower than industry average and the opportunities for advancement are typically limited to waiting for your boss to retire.

      Pros

      LCC pays well especially as compared to other colleges in the area. The advising team is very supportive of each other and works to maintain a collaborative culture.

      Cons

      Advising is not often appreciated by other units on campus. Often times, administrators complain about the effectiveness of the advising team. Constant critique is very devaluing.
