Pros

Flexible schedule (depending on nature of work; support staff work strict hours) 401k match is excellent Employees passionate about building to quality software Ability to change (can feel slow, but happens) Strong sense of community Good work-life balance for most employees/departments Can typically change positions and/or teams if desired Gives back to local community

Cons

Some classic problems of a small family-owned company People have worked there their whole career so it can be hard to have perspective A few problematic managers and leads (e.g., under-involved with poor performers, poor communication skills) Outdated interviewing styles Conflicting goals from upper management (if everything is priority 1, nothing is priority 1)

Pros

working at Laserfiche has been a fantastic experience. I'm not even kidding. From the moment I started, everyone was just so helpful and the whole team is super collaborative. The work itself is challenging, but in a good way, and it feels like what we do actually makes a difference for our customers. If you're looking for a good company that's smart and actually cares about its employees, you should totally check out Laserfiche.

Cons

Things change fast and project shift midflight because technology changes. You got to be adaptable and ready to change or be completely disappointed. Work loads can vary greatly. There is a heavy focus on security. Sometimes you have to work on legacy systems.

Pros

Decent work-life balance and benefits Hybrid work (although jobs could be done fully remote)

Cons

Low trust in employees’ ability to do their job. Upper management and executives set expectations that just make the job more difficult especially when flexibility to work with multiple time zones are a must.
