Pros

- lots of travel. - great opportunity to improve on your russian languages skills. about 60% of staff is russian. sometimes the error messagages pop up in russian, which is kinda cute - lots of time spent doing admin (travel bookings, helping write English, justifying why you earned a commission). - Not much interaction with colleagues - most people work from home. - Became the construction SME there, which was cool. - constant inbound flow of new tablet PCs to play with. not sure what happens to them, but we always tested something - lots of needs to fix client issues. great when working in a support function. it keeps you busy

Cons

- 3 industry outsiders head up the company. They give you different answers to the same questions - high staff turnover, 40% of US staff in early 2011 - little revenue / no communication means every Q = uncertainty - no share participation - hello techworld - they require heavy contract signing (Non Comp.; Non Disc; Business practice) it makes you wonder what they are trying to hide - well below market standards on pay and package :( + have a tendency to role your salary into a commission / bonus - ownership and management structure is a big ?. seems to be Russian owned. SO much for US construction jobs

Pros

I've been working here for about a year and I am very pleased with my experience to the most part. LATISTA has the best product in the industry, an awesome senior management that runs the show diligently and a great team of employees that brings it all together - all the essential ingredients needed to be the next big thing in the AEC industry! We recently went through an acquisition and every employee I spoke to was pleased with the outcome, the founders of the company went the extra mile to make sure not only the transition was smooth but every single employee was protected.

Cons

The company is going through some serious growth spurt and it can sometime be overwhelming to meet your manager's expectations, but the management has laid out a new hiring plan for 2014 to balance the work load.
