Pros
A place to grow and succeed, with all the tools handed to you to do your job correctly. There’s no micromanaging and a lot of opportunity to hear your ideas and see them come to life. They are welcome to questions and don’t expect mind readers, but they do hire you to be a logical thinker and be self-motivated. Assignments are managed on a board and there’s open communication between your team and management. You are responsible for your output, which means sometimes you need to be proactive on the next steps involved without be told. Personally, I love this because there’s never any real down time where you’re bored but also not being constantly hounded on what you are doing every second of the day. The company appreciates you - there’s monthly department lunches and quarterly company events - 401k and amazing benefits. No one leaves this company because they actually promote from within. One of the few companies left who really cares about you as a person and not just a worker.
Cons
You have to be self-driven and a logical thinker. Don’t expect everything to be written down step by step, you have to know what the next steps are and be proactive. This is not an environment for everyone.
