Good work life balance. Always something different to learn or do. Good coworkers who truly want to do the best work they can.

The matrixing employee setup can lead to unsatisfied employees when they cannot influence changes in behavior for employees that are matrixed to them. There isn't always alignment from both managers on what is acceptable.

For interns, the events and activities that you can do are amazing. Great work life balance, the lab culture and all the smart ppl there are amazing.

No free food at cafeteria. Also it gets hot out on the big campus if you dont have a car and just walk but they have bikes all around so its not that big of a deal. Also no housing compensation, they will reimburse your relocation but housing around livermore is expensive man. But most of this is me complaining of small things.
