- Society6 went through multiple GMs in a short period of time, forcing the team to deal with multiple stressful regime changes - Team would make hires and lay them off months later due to reorgs - High turnover - common for the team to be notified that a coworker no longer was with the company, and all of their stuff would suddenly be gone. Led to a culture of fear - Inexperienced managers would assign tasks that went nowhere with unrealistic deadlines and little business impact - Cliquish - some people were nice, others gossiped and badmouthed other employees like we were in high school
