The original Leaf Group employees were some of the most down-to-earth and hardworking people in the business, but things changed when the CRO became the CEO of the media brands side of the house and rebranded the company to World of Good Brands.
Cons
World of Good Brands/Leaf Group leadership is toxic. The CEO (former CRO) has created a mean girl culture and replaced hardworking individuals with her own minions that are underqualified for their positions and lead with bullying tactics. Too many incredibly smart and strategic people have been let go to make room for her people. There are constant layoffs and lack of transparency. Leadership turns a blind eye to bad behavior with their own people but have legacy Leaf Group employees under a microscope.
