Pros
I've never worked with such mission-driven people as I have at Leap! Not only are they changing the world with their clean-tech offerings, but they are intentionally creating a culture of diversity & inclusion. Leadership makes it known that it's okay to make mistakes and feedback is encouraged at every level throughout the organization. They truly care about the employees and want to make sure clean energy is available to all of humanity, not just the ones who can afford it. It's 100% remote and having a true work/life balance is highly encouraged. They do as much as they can to make sure people aren't burned out and that they get all the support they need to thrive in their role.
Cons
It's still a start-up, so processes are always being iterated upon, which can be frustrating, but I will say that leadership is aware and is working on ways to improve it. The benefits are a bit more expensive than I'm used to, but again, it's a start-up. They have improved over the last year and I know HR is constantly working towards improving that, too. For me, the personal fulfillment I get from being part of this company's mission is so worth it!
