I always enjoyed being a substitute but with Covid and my own children homeschooling I am a stay at home mom that need a job working from home.

They could pay more to make sure they keep substitutes.

We get June and July off.

This is the hardest job I have ever had, for the lowest pay. There is almost no time to plan lessons and grade. We are expected to be either lecturing or moving around the classroom at all times to make sure that students aren't playing games on the computers that the school gave them. Honors classes are based on behavior, rather than ability. We also have to stand in the hallway holding the door open and host breakfast in our classrooms (because the students fight in the cafeteria) before school begins.
