Pay for entry level into journalism is decent The benefits are decent You are able to listen to music or podcasts while you are working to make the long day go quicker
Cons
Their leadership is straight up lousy at selecting talent to promote and placing talent in positions to thrive. It's straight up on who you know. One of the least talented designers I have ever met was on the "special designs" team - which is usually reserved for people who can crank out work that would make a magazine blush. This was because she was friends with management. They also promote based on this as well. If you have any aspirations of moving up, lose them. You won't.
