Your typical OLD SCHOOL corporation, though a bit extreme. Politics rule here more so than most companies I have had experience with. The majority of the executives and newspaper publishers spend most of their time trying to save their jobs at the expense of those that are really working to save the company. Depressing environment with little growth opportunity. Dual roles given to individuals and disguised as promotions. Zero real innovation, very little training, no raises in years, and increased workloads! All while you are fighting the slide of a dying industry and paid less than you could make at the competitors. Why would you?
