Pros
Adequate pay Company vehicles for delivery of down routes. Keep the routes contracted and managed and the work load is less. Not micro-managed.
Cons
Daily newspaper circulation is going digital. On salary as a Circulation DM- Sometimes you work 6 days a week. Managing Independent Contractors, not employees - they may drop route at anytime, have to be ready to cover. Long mornings when many paper routes are open. Healthcare benefits are poor.
