Pros
Casual work environment. Couldn't complain about pay and benefits. Great people on the team. You would have a better experience if you worked in administration.
Cons
Its a call center so you will get zero flexibility. They avoid letting two people off on vacation at the same time and for busier seasons (Holidays and Q1), they have a lottery so their is no loyalty for seniority. You can expect 30 min lunches and two 10 min breaks on most days working 10 hours a day. Micromanaged is an understatement. It was moderate at first with hitting your sales goals but that is standard at any sales job. However, a phone system upgrade turned the job into a nightmare. If there were gaps in between calls or if you don't change your status promptly, management will question you. All calls are recorded so if you we're off script or skipped a question that could lead to an upsell, management will question you. Labor practices were extreme. Management would give us a hard time on how often you use the restroom. If you tried to call in sick, management would question the nature of your illness to see if you can come in still to just answer emails. Other employees were vocal about these practices and managements response was intimidation. Please note this manager was eventually reported to HR and removed from the sales team.
