Pros
The people who work at LegalZoom, like agents, are all pretty rad. Especially back before the pandemic, there was always fun at the office. I made some true and dear friends at LegalZoom. The health insurance was fantastic, too. As someone with an autoimmune disease, the insurance was a God-send to me while I had it.
Cons
Outsourcing. Twice in 2023, I lost my role to outsourcing. The first time, they moved me to another role, the second time they simply laid off the entire sales department. Everyone who took a customer interaction at LegalZoom used to be located in Texas. Now, they're not even in the United States and the training they receive to help you is absolutely subpar. Goals - sales goals changed month to month and always felt like they were simply ridiculous. Combined with tech issues every single day, it was an uphill battle to hit goal most months. Tech issues - for a "tech" company, LegalZoom has some pretty terrible tech. While the new C-Team (they came in right before the pandemic) has made some upgrades, there are still things that are broken for months if not years. It's rather embarrassing. And when it came to being able to provide feedback on broken tech (like on the website), it was a labored process. There was no ongoing collaboration between customer-facing teams and the teams constantly making changes.
