Pros
I've gone back and forth about writing this review, as I was always taught not to burn bridges and to let things go. But here we are. LegalZoom does have its pros. Remote work is a significant perk, especially in a world where it still feels like a rare find. The benefits are solid, and the pay is decent. I’d also say that about 70% of the people you work with are fantastic—it really depends on which team you land on, though
Cons
Here’s an enhanced version of your review: --- I cannot stress enough the importance of interviewing the company just as thoroughly as they’re interviewing you. While some teams at LegalZoom are truly awesome, others are incredibly overworked, and you may find yourself drowning under the pressure. To me, LegalZoom felt like a cult. I’ve worked at many places in my life, and this was by far the most dysfunctional. The harsh reality is that no one truly cares about you. My advice? Fly under the radar and keep your voice low. Sadly, it’s just a job at the end of the day, and they won’t hesitate to lay you off without a second thought. That’s showbiz, baby.
