They can't afford to let anyone go so at least there's job security

Awful management throughout the whole US company, they apply more band-aid fixes than real solutions to internal problems, sales lies to customers about lead times causing stress on the shop which causes management to freak out which causes stress throughout, no real processes to anything - it seems to be all "figure it out as you go" for everyone, employees are taken for granted, no reward for doing a good job but as soon as you mess up once there's the threat of being terminated, no cohesiveness in the entire company - one manager says one thing which contradicts the others. The current shop managers are short tempered and emotional causing everyone to be on edge which creates an uneasy work environment - most of the other management position holders aren't much better.
