Pros

Relaxed working environment, unlimited PTO (kinda), relatively high level of autonomy to work when and where. Free beer!

Cons

Cliques that are difficult to penetrate. Everyone stays to their own kind, and if you happen to be an outsider, it is difficult to foster good working relationships with your peers. Seems like, at least in Engineering, they've been hiring the same person for the past 10 years. (i.e. white male with 5-10 years of .NET experience. ) and use offshore resources to augment staff.

Pros

LendingTree has a strong culture that is incredibly welcoming, since the start I have felt right at home. The company places an emphasis on autonomy, giving you the chance to explore ways to make a difference. You are encouraged to work however works best for you, with flexible hours and unlimited PTO, work-life balance is great.

Cons

The business itself is very complex and constantly evolving, and while that does keep things interesting you can feel lost. The segments of the business are all very unique making collaboration imperative, so at times competing priorities can cause delays and hold progress.
