Pros

Generous stock and working from home

Cons

I will start from the beginning. Training was not training. It was about 7- 8 days and they expect you to know it all. I worked for a over a year and only heard my call about 2-3 times. Commission changed 2x while I worked there. The leadership team is horrible. They talk about each other and about employees. They act like they care and want to help but in honesty they only care about how much money you can bring in. I recently completed a survey but I’m sure nothing will be done. Q and A is okay should have had them do training since training was bad. Communication is bad too. Managers say one thing and trainers say another. They are not on the same page. Managers are never available when you need them. Also they create new projects but then all of a sudden changes their minds and stop. It’s just a waste of time being off the phone.this is the most frustrating and so I had to resign.

Thank you for your feedback. It is always appreciated! Our initial new hire training program is designed to provide a strong foundation for sales success at Ovation. We have recently developed a more structured follow up training to help supplement the one on one coaching our sales managers provide on a daily basis. Like any growing company, we are constantly transforming training, among other things, to meet the needs of our growing sales department. During the pandemic we have adjusted to a virtual/remote work format which requires communicating effectively using Microsoft Teams. Most of our team members find that this enables managers to respond to their questions even faster than when we were in the office. That said, working virtually is more challenging for some employees than others. Our goal is to provide prompt and relevant communication to our employees to set them on the path to success. Thank you!

Pros

LendingTree has a strong culture that is incredibly welcoming, since the start I have felt right at home. The company places an emphasis on autonomy, giving you the chance to explore ways to make a difference. You are encouraged to work however works best for you, with flexible hours and unlimited PTO, work-life balance is great.

Cons

The business itself is very complex and constantly evolving, and while that does keep things interesting you can feel lost. The segments of the business are all very unique making collaboration imperative, so at times competing priorities can cause delays and hold progress.
