Pros

there are some good eggs within the company that are actively trying to bring about change and lead happy, functional teams but within our department this was not the case

Cons

leaders with bad reputations/records of misconduct that HR tirelessly defends, very few people of color or women in positions of power except in a few token roles, top down planning leaves teams changing goals monthly if not weekly, stingy with hiring, especially backfills leaving teams overworked

Pros

LendingTree has a strong culture that is incredibly welcoming, since the start I have felt right at home. The company places an emphasis on autonomy, giving you the chance to explore ways to make a difference. You are encouraged to work however works best for you, with flexible hours and unlimited PTO, work-life balance is great.

Cons

The business itself is very complex and constantly evolving, and while that does keep things interesting you can feel lost. The segments of the business are all very unique making collaboration imperative, so at times competing priorities can cause delays and hold progress.
