EXTREME LACK OF PRODUCTIVITY
They could have stayed away from the old fashioned, inefficient IBM bloated processes, but they kept using the same processes over and over. All of the problems that this team had at IBM are still here, and even worse. There is no overall vision, no training for employees, managers only know how to move people from team A to team B, then add pressure while making everyone's life miserable. Add to this total madness where development of code happens out of people across all timezones and various parts of the world, and you have a recipe for disaster. Developers at the same time no longer care anymore, they write subpar code lacking quality, tightly coupled, unit testing anyone? Of course not! This is a big mess, a sinking ship, and eventually all US employees will be laid off. Rightfully so, since this is unsustainable.
The only reason I'm still here is because I have to pay the bills, and because I haven't found a job yet elsewhere.
